Is There A Katie?
Why yes, there is! Katie grew up working alongside her 6 siblings in their family’s flower shop in Coldwater, Ohio. Her parents transitioned the business into Hallmark stores in the 1970s and Katie joined them full time after graduating from the University of Cincinnati. In 1990, she bought two of the stores and expanded in the Dayton area. Today, Katie owns three Hallmark Gold Crown stores in Vandalia, Huber Heights and Springfield, Ohio and after over 30 years she still loves this business…the customers, the products from over 200 different manufacturers, and the staff that makes Katie’s Hallmark what it is. The fantastic group of Sales Associates and the dedicated store managers and office support team are what makes a shopping trip to Katie’s an experience!
Our goal is to ‘make our customer’s day’ by being so friendly and helpful that they will think of Katie’s Hallmark as their favorite place to shop. We will provide this level of service every day to every customer and make such an impression that they will want to tell other people about their visit. Employees will provide the same concern, respect and caring attitude within the company that they share with their customers.
Organizations That We Support
Because we are a woman-owned, predominately female business, we support organizations that help women and their families. We sponsor two ‘Girls’ Night Out’ events that benefit the Artemis Center in the fall and Clothes That Work in the spring. We have held a food drive for the Foodbank in Dayton at our Holiday Open House for over 25 years and more recently, the Second Harvest Food Bank in Springfield, supplying the centers with literally tons of donated food over the years. And our Cookie Drive in December was started to provide treats for families in need at the House of Bread. Our wonderful customers have been so generous in donating to these great organizations. Check our calendar under What’s New for our next event.
